Sexual Harassment

Actreks recognizes that every employer who does not comply with the Employer Sexual Harassments Act is at risk of paying a penalty fee of $5000, or being imprisoned for 12 months or both.

To manage this risk for employers, Actreks offers the following services:

  • Provide for the employer, a clear, written policy statement against sexual harassment within the workplace

  • Ensure that the policy statement is made available to all employees on their first day

  • discuss the act with employees so that they have a very good understanding of its provisions.

  • Receive sign off from employees that they understand the provisions of the Act
